Using a 12-bit video DAC, the DV3022 gives a sensational picture for the price. Colours are vivid, yet realistic and detail is finely etched by DVD standards. In addition to playing DVDs, the DV3022 also plays back a variety of other formats including the popular DivX format. A feature unique to Pioneer is the Sound Retriever system. This works with compressed formats such as DivX and MP3 to restore the sound quality to a level that's closer to the original. Furthermore, a selection of DSP listening modes let you vary the sound quality to suit genre and personal preference.

Helping to get the best possible picture to your TV is the standard HDMI socket.
